LOCATION

This fantastic property is situated in a small village 3 kilometers from the town of Lousa, where there are a multitude of local amenities.

The property has been built in an elevated position which enjoys breathtaking views over the valley of Lousa to the plains and mountain ranges beyond.
The wow factor of the property is its fabulous location, the excellent standard to which it has been built and finished, and the wonderful unique feature created from an old water well.

Access can be gained to the property via a garden gate at the top, or via electronic double gates leading onto a spacious driveway which takes you to the large double garage on the lower level.


DESCRIPTION

A wide paved terrace leads you from the garage area to a curved covered walkway where the front door is located.


GROUND FLOOR

A spacious entrance hall with a large cloak cupboard on the right hand side. The kitchen is situated on the left hand side of the hall. When finished the kitchen will contain a range of fully fitted floor and wall cupboards along one side, and across the back where a large window overlooks the garden and panoramic views. At present just the glass wall tiles in very pale aqua have been fitted along one wall. The kitchen will have granite worktops and a stainless steel double sink, some fitted appliances will be included in the price, these are to be discussed once an offer to purchase has been made.
A glass panelled door leads out from the kitchen to the covered BBQ and sink area.

The hall opens out to form part of the spacious lounge dining room, the staircase to the first floor, is located to the back right hand side of this room, when the staircase is finished there will be a glass panel running up the stairs, and along the length of the galleried upper hall.
The large lounge has patio doors overlooking the garden and the views beyond, a centrally situated fireplace with a wow feature of glass doors at both the front and the back sits about two thirds of the way back in the room.
The ideal place for a dining room area would be behind the fireplace, in addition, a large bar will be built under the staircase.

Beyond the lounge a large study, or fifth bedroom, overlooking the garden, and with patio doors out onto the terrace.
Next to the study is fully tiled and fitted cloakroom.
External electric venetian style blinds are fitted to all windows and patio doors throughout the property, light and shade or total blackout can be provided to each room as individually desired.


FIRST FLOOR

Light floods into the upper hallway from high level panels, a discreet lighting system provides wonderful ambiance to the whole area at night.

All four double bedrooms overlook the rear of the property, each has patio doors out onto the balcony, which will have continuous glass panels stretching the total length, this will provide uninterrupted views down the valley to the plains and mountains beyond.
Each bedroom has a range of built in double or triple wardrobes, in addition the master bedroom has a fully tiled and fitted en-suite bathroom, complete with hydro-massage shower.
A fully tiled and fitted bathroom is located off the hall way, plus a further large fitted wardrobe is located near the external door which takes you out onto an extremely spacious roof terrace, an ideal place to relax, sunbathe, read a book and take in the fantastic views.


EXTERIOR

Where does one begin to try and capture the feel of what the outside is like!!
If you enter the garden via the gate at the top of the property you will be standing on a curved roof terrace, in the middle of which is an old water well, look down over the edge and you will see the old metal water wheel and the mechanism that drives it, it is intended to install a glass roof over the well, and lights within the internal walls, so that it can be lit up as a very special and unique feature.
A traditional metal arbour surrounds part of this terrace, a perfect place for training climbing plants.
A curved staircase takes you from this level down to a second larger roof terrace, which is on the same level as the first floor of the house, and where an external door can take you into the property.
Again, stunning panoramic views over the village, to the valley and mountains can be enjoyed where ever you stand.

A further staircase takes you to ground floor level, beyond the detached double garage.
If you look toward the driveway entrance a wide paved drive gently curves up to the side of the house.
At house level, there is a large lawn to the left with several olive trees dotted around, various young wall clinging shrubs have been planted along the back wall of the garden, there is plenty of room to install a swimming pool in this area of the garden.

The double garage has a utility room to the right hand side of it, on the left hand side a door takes you into the circular well room, two thirds of the height of this room have natural stone exposed walls, if you look up toward the light you can see the metal water wheel feature. A metal grill in the floor allows you to look down to the water itself. This room would make an ideal wine cellar, or secret hideaway!!
A curved terrace takes you around to the main entrance of the house, outside the kitchen is the covered BBQ and sink area.
Across the front of the property there is a second lawn (as yet not grassed) with olive trees along the perimeter and a paved terrace which runs along the front of the house itself.

A solar panel system will be installed to provide hot water, air conditioning/ warm air heating system can be provided (negotiate at time of offer)
